Age verification
Selfie-only age estimation, with an automatic fallback to a full ID check.
How it works
No document needed for the happy path - just a selfie, estimated against your template's configured minimum age. Built for age-gated products that want minimal friction.
Fallback to ID check
If age verification fails or is exhausted (5 attempts) without passing, a template with the fallback setting on automatically requires a full ID check within the same session instead - the person shows their ID rather than the flow dead-ending.
Accuracy
Age estimation carries a real error margin. Don't treat it as a sole final gate for genuinely age-restricted goods without your own additional controls - see the DPIA for the specific risk framing.
